Renfrew is an inner city community in
Calgary, bordered by Edmonton Trail to the west, Nose Creek Valley to the east,
the TransCanada Highway to the north
and the Bow River escarpment to the
south.
The downtown core is within three
kilometers and is directly accessible by
Edmonton Trail.
Renfrew was established in the 1940s,
after the Calgary Airport relocated from its original site on the corner of 6th
Street and Regal Crescent.
